Fan art dedicated to my favorite author!!

I’m no artist, but I tried to indulge in some artistry and I honestly don’t know I got failed or succeeded.

This fan art is from the series The Alliance by Brenda K Davies.

My passion for books started when I was a child. But I never read enough or never got enough satisfaction by reading. Then, there was my love for paranormal, fantasy books.

A whole new world.

A few years before, I discovered The Vampire Awakenings by Brenda K Davies, I immediately fell in love with it.

Then, I just couldn’t stop this series and it kind of dominated me. I usually have no interest in adult rated books, but this is a gem.

I usually cringe a lot during romance scenes. But there is this mate thing between the vampires. You find your soulmate, you keep it.

Sounds legit, right?

Which is why it will absolutely make you hooked throughout the novel.

However, not so simple as said, this series has a hella lot complications to face before they happily live ever after (for eternity). And because of the blood death and violence, it is A rated.

Different books have different pairs, and their story ends in one book.

The series are reviewed with my art and also the original cover.

Book 1 — Eternally Bound

Eternally Bound (The Alliance, #1)

Goodreads synopsis:

Over the centuries, anything Ronan once found pleasure in has faded away to be replaced with blood, death, and the ever-constant battle not to give in to the more savage side of his vampire nature. Every time he wakes, he questions if that day will be the one he succumbs to the beckoning darkness.

As a born hunter, Kadence has been sheltered from the world for her entire life, never allowed to step beyond the walls of her home. It’s not a life she’s happy with, but it’s one she’s come to accept. Everything changes the day her father is slaughtered by a vampire, and she escapes the walls that have kept her caged.

After she’s attacked by the monster responsible for killing her father, Kadence is unsure how to react when she’s rescued by Ronan. Though raised to hate vampires, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to Ronan as she slowly begins to realize that everything she’s been taught over the years may not be true. Now, she must decide what she wants more; Ronan, her family, or the elusive freedom she’s finally found.

Review:

Ronan being the king of vampires makes this book more interesting, and when the leader of vampires has a mate, who is the hunter pack leader’s only sister. Hunters and vampires should not come in contact, let alone mate.

I absolutely loved how my author brings them to a situation where they get to know each other, the events successfully unfolding, they fall in love and at last they are together and nothing, not a soul can separate them.

“You sacrificed yourself, Kadence. Sacrificed your freedom because you believe you can help forge an alliance between the hunters and vampires.”

“No, not a sacrifice. I never thought of it like that, but right now you’remaking me feel like one!” she blurted, unnerved by the creature in this room with

Now hunters discover they and vampires have a mutual enemy, and not all vampires are brutal killers. And that mutual enemy should be killed which follows the rest of the story.

In addition to that many new characters were introduced and is jam-packed with action. If you can stomach brutality then this book is for you!

Book 2 — Bound by vengeance

Bound by Vengeance (The Alliance, #2)

Goodreads synopsis:

After her ex-boyfriend’s betrayal, revenge propels Vicky to find and destroy the man who sold her into captivity. The minute she gets the chance to search for Duke alone, she seizes the opportunity. When her hunt causes her to cross paths with Nathan, she finds herself secretly aligning with the one man she’s vowed to avoid.

Determined to hunt down the Savage who murdered his father, Nathan has told no one about his private search for Joseph. The night he runs into Vicky and learns she’s on her own quest, he reluctantly agrees to join forces with her to achieve his goal.

Bound by their driving need for vengeance, they soon find themselves unable to deny the attraction growing between them. As leader of the hunters, Nathan knows they would never accept his relationship with a vampire, but will he be able to let Vicky go, or will their growing love destroy them both?

Review:

Vampire and Hunter leader romance?

Yep, I’m in!!!

Vicky is a woman who will not hesitate about anything, basically a self-centered diva. However, her life changed due to her past, and she is seeking revenge. Nathan, as the leader of hunters and father being killed seeks revenge from a notorious, brutal vampire Joseph.

Circumstances led them to meet together and the action takes place. Heat and attraction intensifies between them. Nathan, who only ever wanted a wife who would just do wifey duties, falls for this vampire. Being a leader of hunters this should not happen, but eventually their love grows and they end up together.

Vicky buried the excitement that leapt to life at the revelation Nathan told the elders no to the engagement ceremony.

It might not mean anything for you. He’s dealing with enough right now without adding marriage to it. Of course, he would want to put the ceremony off until everything gets straightened out, Vicky told herself.

The book then clarifies about the tumultuous changes unfolding between Vampires and Hunters, what will happen with the alliance, and is Joseph dead is what to come.

As always I love the chemistry between two main characters, unlike poles attract and this is what in this book which makes it even more special.
